Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service during point of sale and customer service interactions, with an emphasis on maintaining consistent execution and operational effectiveness. Your primary goal will be to ensure quick transaction times while also crafting a memorable customer journey.

What You'll Do as Retail Associate:

• Begin interactions with clients by welcoming them warmly and providing support with their inquiries about goods and services. Manage transactions through the use of a cash register, scan products, package items, and proficiently manage various payment options
• Effectively follow company protocols to deliver high-quality customer service and adhere to point-of-sale procedures promptly with a friendly and courteous approach
• Achieve or surpass personal targets such as credit and customer loyalty
• Ensure inventory precision by correctly executing all necessary retail transaction and product handling procedures
• Assist in the onboarding of new service team members by educating them on the best processes to follow, guiding them on the correct procedures for point of sale transactions, and demonstrating how to utilize the various tools and resources provided, all while ensuring compliance with Kohl's brand guidelines
• Engage in routine service procedures such as recording transactions and reconciling cash, managing change requests, and restocking inventory

Required Skills and Experience of Retail Associate:

• Skilled in delivering exceptional customer support and adept at managing multiple tasks while maintaining a keen focus on particulars
• Effective verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal abilities are essential in professional settings
• Previous retail background not needed
• The individual must be at least 16 years old
• Versatile scheduling, encompassing weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
